How Positive Affirmation Can Change Life

Affirmation in new thought and new age terminology refers primarily to the practice of positive thinking and self-empowerment – fostering a belief that a “positive mental attitude supported by affirmations will achieve success in anything.


Most of us, once in our lifetime have suffered  setbacks and it caused us to be a pessimistic, being in an agony of hopeless grief, in denial and having a negative outlook in life. Which in the long run  affect our lives.

How positive affirmation can change our life?

Positive affirmations are statements you say to yourself or to others to counteract negative thoughts and beliefs. When we make a conscious effort to change our lives, positive affirmations feed us invigorating positive energy. They help us to let go of a harmful and hurtful beliefs that feed our psyche.

Overtime they change the way we perceive ourselves and that in turn changes other people’s perception of us. Thereby creating positive change that helps lift our spirits, gives us a positive attitude and the chance to move in a new direction. Thus this also reflects in how we treat others.

I myself use this daily. I have a book, “I Declare” by Joel Osteen, which is full of positive affirmations. I recite it daily and during the day when I am not doing anything, especially when negative thoughts of the enemy invade my mind.

How to do it?

1. These positive statements can be repeated several times throughout the day. By taking the time to vocalize the affirmations, the positive changes you wish to manifest, will shift the energy in and around you. It is the vibration of the tone of your own voice as you speak that creates this energy for change to occur.

2. You can also take the time to write your affirmations in the morning and the evening. This takes more commitment and time. Just remember the more time you are willing to invest in yourself to create positive change the more you will gain from the work you have done.

I suggest if you decide to write your affirmations use a journal. If you journal your dreams and other information you may want to have a separate journal just for your affirmations.

3. Another way you can make use of these positive affirmations is to write them on little index cards and post them on your mirror in the bathroom, the visor of your car, on your refrigerator and anywhere else you will see them often and make use of them.

I’ll share a love letter of Brad Pitt in fear that he’d lost her wife and they’ll get divorced…


My wife got sick. She was constantly nervous because of problems at work, personal life, her failures and problems with children.

She has lost 30 pounds and weighed about 90 pounds in her 35 years. She got very skinny, and was constantly crying. She was not a happy woman. She suffered from continuing headaches, heart pain and jammed nerves in her back and ribs.

She did not sleep well, falling asleep only in the morning and got tire very quickly during the day. Our relationship was on the verge of break up.

Her beauty was leaving her somewhere, she had bags under her eyes, she was poking her head, and stopped taking care of herself. She refused to shoot the films and rejected any role.

I lost hope and thought that we’ll get divorced soon…But the I decided to act on it. After all I’ve got the most beautiful woman on earth.

She is the idol of more than half of men and women on earth, and I was the one allowed to fall asleep next to her and to hug her shoulders.

I began to pamper her with flowers, kisses and compliments her. I surprised her and pleased her every minute. I gave her lots of gifts and lived just for her. I spoke in public only about her. I incorporated all themes in her direction. I praised her in front of her own and our mutual friends.

You won’t believe it, but she blossomed. She became even better than before. She gained weight, was no longer nervous and she loved me even more than ever. I have no clue than she CAN love that much. And then I realized one thing: The woman is the reflection of her man. If you love her to the point of madness, she will become it.”

Brad Pitt was able to do that to her wife because he has invigorating positive attitude. If he has NOT he will not be able to help his wife get back into her feet again.
